When are Pathway notifications sent?

Pathway notifications are sent as email notifications and/or push notifications on a pathway. Refer to the tables below to understand when different pathway notifications are sent.

Pathway content update notifications

Pathway content update notifications are sent to users when there is new or updated content on a pathway.

Sent when a pathway is published.

Sent when a pathway is updated (by adding a new activity/making a change) and re-published.

Sent when any new content (Story, Article) is published.

Sent when any content (Story, Article) is updated. receive the email notification sent to the user.

If targeting groups, only users in those groups are notified. Notifications can be disabled when publishing.

How are Pathway Notifications sent?

Notifications are sent as push notifications and/or email notifications.

Pathway Notification Options

Admins can be notified when bookings are confirmed, when confirmation activities are uploaded, and when rewards have been awarded.

Enrolments Notifies selected admins when a user enrols on a Pathway.

Bookings Notifies selected admins when a user registers their attendance to an event or classroom activity.

Uploads Notifies selected admins when users submit uploads to a Pathway activity.

Rewards Notifies selected admins when the user unlocks a reward on a Pathway.

How to use

  1. Open the Pathway Editor on a selected Pathway.

  2. Navigate to Notifications.

  3. Select which of the admins must be notified for Bookings, Uploads, and Rewards.

Pathway Nudge Notifications

Apply a time limit to activity rows. The activities will need to be completed within the specified time, and users will be reminded of the deadline by app push & email notifications.

Quick Steps: How to Add a Nudge Notification

  1. Open a Pathway.

  2. Open the Pathway Editor and select the bell icon to Add Nudge Notification.

  3. Adjust the Nudge Settings as needed.

  4. Publish the Pathway.

Nudge Settings

Time Limit Set the number of days users are given to complete activities in a row.

Restart Action Choose which activities will need to be restarted if a user does not complete them in time:

  • All Row Activities

  • All Level Activities

  • All Pathway Activities

Logs, progress, and results will be cleared and reset according to the Restart Action.
